Ch Boyd Farms Harmonia (AJ).
Harmonia won the Oregon State Fair in 2024 on an extended lactation and went on to LA 88 as a first freshener in October 2024. She kidded in 2025, finished at the NWODGA show in June 2025, and won BOB again in the champion challenge class at the 2025 Oregon State Fair. She was also named to the elite list in 2025.
Harmonia is the ultimate show doe and loves every aspect of attending shows, from being in the ring to begging for scratches from fair attendees. Unfortunately, she blew out the meniscus in both of her back knees while out on our wooded, hillside pasture during her pregnancy. We brought her in with severe movement in both hind knees, and when the issue did not resolve after kidding, a veterinarian confirmed the diagnosis.
Because of this injury, Harmonia has sat out every show this year. We gave her Rangi (Pipsqueak) as a companion, and the two have become inseparable. We plan to bring both Harmonia and Pipsqueak to the upcoming Oregon State Fair. We did the same for Athena when she was getting older, and it truly perked her up.
